Arch. Md. Mazherul Quader is a prominent entrepreneur and success driven figure in the business community of Bangladesh with a diversified business portfolio. An eminent Architect who has been involved with over 400 projects at home and abroad. He has been entrusted to design many Commercial & Residential buildings in UAE, Liberia, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and other countries. His chequered career includes 36 years of rich and diversified experience in different business sectors such as ‘Building & Infrastructure, Consultancy and Construction, Real Estate Developments, Agro, Ceramics’ etc. He has won many rewards and recognition to his credit for his business acumen and his associations with different charitable organizations.

Mr. Md. Mazherul Quader is the Chairman of Index Agro Industries Limited (IAIL) and Member of Nomination and Remuneration Committee of IAIL. He is also the member of the Board of X‐Ceramics Ltd., Monalisa Ceramics (BD) Ltd., Index Poultry (Pvt) Ltd., Index Construction Ltd. and Index Holdings Ltd.

Mahin Mazher

Mahin Mazher is a visionary entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a powerful footprint in both Bangladesh and Canada. As the Managing Director & CEO of X Index Companies (XIC), a leading Bangladeshi conglomerate, he has been instrumental in driving growth across diverse sectors including real estate, energy, agro-industries, and manufacturing.

Mahin Mazher began his career in the U.S. after earning a degree in Finance from Eckerd College, St. Petersburg- Florida and Georgia Southern University, followed by executive programs such as ‘Negotiations & Decision Making’ and ‘Advanced Management Program’ at Harvard Business School. He worked at Merrill Lynch and Bell South before launching his first tech venture, TechNet Inc., in Los Angeles.

Returning to Bangladesh in the late 1990s, Mahin Mazher pioneered affordable “smart housing” and revolutionized the agro sector by empowering women entrepreneurs and building one of the country’s largest feed mill and poultry breeding operations. His ventures in energy led to the establishment of independent power plants and a bold move into solar energy, enhancing national power capacity.

In 2009, Mahin Mazher disrupted the ceramic tile industry by co-founding X Ceramics and Monalisa Ceramics, drastically reducing the country’s dependence on imports. He later launched X Angel Ltd. and BlueBees Ltd. to support tech-driven startups and entrepreneurs in developing markets.

Beyond business, Mahin Mazher is a social change maker. Through the Kamrunnesa Khatun Foundation (KKF), he has led impactful projects in education, healthcare, vocational training, and disaster relief, benefiting over 85,000 people across 59 districts.

Mahin Mazher is also the Director & Co-Owner (Sylhet Strikers), Future Sports Bangladesh Limited, T20 cricket team of Bangladesh Premiere Legue (BPL) and a dedicated patron of arts, sports, and climate initiatives. He comes from a family of respected diplomats, scholars, and philanthropists.

Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA

Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). His academic brilliance was revealed when Mr. Rashid obtained his undergraduate degree in Bachelors of Commerce in the year 1987 and his post- graduation degree in Masters of Commerce (Management) in the year 1989, securing First Class 2nd Position and First Class 4th Position respectively both under the educational guidance and accreditation of University of Dhaka.

Presently Mr. Rashid is serving as Additional Managing Director at Index Group of Companies. He is also serving as the Independent Director at West Zone Power Distribution Co. Limited, an enterprise of Bangladesh Power Development Board and Board Director of several sister concern of Index Companies. He has been elected as the Vice President of Bangladesh Ceramics Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCMEA) and the GB member of Federation of Bangladesh Chamber & Commerce Industry (FBCCI).

He has been actively associated with the National Council of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). Currently he is serving as the President of ICMAB. Mr. Rashid served as the Executive Secretary of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) for the year 2013. He has been blessed with his wife Jesmin Sultana and two daughters Tanha & Tahiya.

Mehzabin Mazher

Director

Mehzabin Mazher, Director of 'X Index Companies' is a dynamic and accomplished professional. She has a sound scholastic record with an MBA from 'Queens University' in Dhaka. Apart from being actively involved with the Branding department, she also supervises and formulates directions for Index Constructions Limited.

Mrs. Khurshid Mazher

Director

Khurshid Mazher, acquired her Bachelor Degree in Arts in the year 1981. She accumulated a wealth of experience in the arenas of construction and poultry breeding sectors of the national economy via her dedication and uninterrupted services to the Group. Well equipped with the knowledge and managerial skills, she holds the position of a Director in the other Companies of Index Group.

Esha Rahman

Director

Esha Rahman is a Director of 'X Index Companies'. She acquired her educational qualification from North South University. Her passion and professional expertise have made valuable contribution to the growth and influence of the company. Also, she distributes some of her time as a senior lecturer in English Literature at Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB).
